Annual General Meeting

The Hills Ultimate Frisbee Association would like to extend an invitation to all members to attend the 2012 AGM.

Venue: Eric Mobbs Reserve Club House (in front of Oval 2)
Date: 15th May 2012 (please note the revised date!)
Times: 7:30 - 8:30pm
Catering: We will supply nibblies and drinks

We would like to encourage anybody who is interested in taking on a position or getting to know more about what goes on in your club to attend.

The following positions will be available for nomination and voting are:
- President
- Vice-President
- Treasurer
- General Executive members

In addition the following Officer positions can be nominated for (the executive will appoint from the nominated list):
- Secretary
- Development Officer
- Marketing Officer
- League Officer (League Commissioner)

Nominations can be received via e-mail to either the Secretary (secretary@hillsultimate.com.au) or President (president@hillsultimate.com.au). Nominations will also be accepted on the night. We are aware that not all current Executive and Officers will be standing for election, so if you are interested please nominate.

Indoor League Registration is Open
 
The Hills District Indoor League returns for another year. This year we return to a venue we last used in 2007 - Epping YMCA! 
 
If you haven't played indoor before, this is a little different to the outdoor competition (well it is certainly drier that's for certain ;)  ). The basic principals of Ultimate are still the same, however it is played on a indoor basketball/netball court as 5 per side (still mixed though).  Teams will play 2 x 20 minute games each Wednesday night.  It is quite a fun change of pace compared to outdoor :)
 
Dates: Wednesday nights from May 2nd for 7 weeks.

Winter League is Coming
 
Registration is now open for the Winter 2012 League. This year the League is expanding with more divisions and more fields.
 
Dates: Wednesday nights from June 20th through to August 29th.

Information for New Players

Looking for information on ultimate frisbee in the Hills district? Perhaps you heard us on 2CCR 90.5 FM?

New players are always welcome - even mid-season. You can try out the sport by playing in one of our regular games. Simply come down to Eric Mobbs Reserve in Castle Hill on a Wednesday night.
