This is the premiere league in the Hills District each year, with hundreds of people playing each Wednesday night. There are some significant changes for the 2011-2012 season to help accommodate the growing number of players and better serve anyone trying to learn the sport.
Dates: Wednesday nights from October 12th through to March 14th. There will be a 4-week break over Christmas / New Year from December 21st to January 11th inclusive.
Times:
Venues: Eric Mobbs Recreation Reserve and Greenup Park, Castle Hill. The majority of games will be scheduled at Eric Mobbs, with some also at Greenup if required. If you are playing 2 games each week, time will be allocated to help you get from one venue to the other. Visit our Locations page for full details on these venues.
Rules: The League rules are noted here. In particular please be aware of the revised gender ratio rules.
Fees: $60 per person for the season. If you wish to play two divisions (e.g. Division 2 + Division 1 or Division 2 + Division 3), you only pay $30 for your second division (a total of $90). Fees are due to your team captain, who will then make a bulk team payment to the club. Team payments are due before the 3rd week of games.
Payment can be made directly to our bank account:
Communication: Most communication will be via weekly emails to all registered players. Please make sure your email address is correct in your AFDA membership details. You may also need to ensure your email program does not classify these emails as spam / junk. The League Director & Division Commissioners, as well as your own team captain may send you emails with important league information.
Draws & Results: These will be published on each Division page as they are available.

Changes from previous seasons: Division 3 games will now be held at the later time of 8:40pm. Due to the growing number of players in Division 2 & 3 it was not possible to to fit all games on to our fields at the same time. There is more room alongside the smaller Division 1 so Division 3 games have been moved to this later timeslot.
This also enables us to reschedule the weekly Learn2Play sessions to the more friendly time of 7:30pm. These sessions ahve been popular but many people expressed a concern that they are unable to make their way to the fields by 6:30pm or 7:00pm when these sessions were previously held. It is hoped that most people will now be able to participate and improve their skills by attendign both Learn2Play and Division 3 games each week.
What is Learn2Play? These are complimentary sessions held each week by trained Ultimate coaches for anyone who is new to the sport or wishes to improve their skills. Each week these 1-hour sessions will help to teach and improve your skills through a sereis of talks, exercises and simulations.
